26. Pymmes Park Wetlands

Project description
This wetland project filters and cleans the rain which runs off the roads in the area, which can contain oils, tars and sediments further polluting the lake and brook.
An Enfield Council project, implemented in partnership with Thames21. Following Enfield Council and Thames Water's detailed work to identify and correct homes and businesses incorrectly plumbed and inadvertently putting their toilets, sinks and shower water into the lake and Pymmes Brook.
